There are several different signs of a cheating spouse but some of the most obvious are those that you may have over looked such as the financial aspect of things. Here are the top five financial signs of a cheating spouse.

1. Credit cards: Continued unexplained activity on your bank statement, especially in the form of gift merchandise, such as flowers, jewelry, clothing, etc. I mean they can't always be shopping for your birthday since that only comes once a year. If you are not receiving any of these gifts then who is?

2. ATM withdrawals: A cheating spouse may want to use straight cash in order to eliminate the paper trail. If you notice a lot of cash withdraws that they always seem to have a questionable excuse for, or are hostility when you inquire about them it's time to really start to question where all the money is going.

3. Another bank account: The cheating spouse might have another bank account to hide their financial activity. Look for unfamiliar bank statements for checking or savings that are in their name only.

4. Failure to Report New Money: Some cheating spouses won't accurately,(or not at all), relay their raise or promotion, wanting to spend their money on their double life. If you notice they have received a raise or promotion without being excited about it and telling you then you should wonder why.

5. Travel Bills: If you find bills or your income tax reveals an unexplained trip somewhere, it might belong to a cheating spouse. Also if you find that your spouse has been taking more work related trips than usually that could be an indication that they are traveling with or spending time with the other person.
